These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and QuickCut Info ("QuickCut", "Company", "we", "our", "us"), governing your access to and use of https://quickcut.info, its mobile applications, APIs, newsletters, notifications, and any related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing, browsing, registering, or using the Platform, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use.
1. Eligibility, Age Restriction, and Legal Capacity
The Platform is intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law. The Platform may contain news, commentary, images, videos, advertisements, and third-party promotional material that may be disturbing, controversial, or unsuitable for minors. QuickCut does not guarantee age-based filtering. Any misrepresentation of age may result in immediate termination of access.
2. Nature and Scope of Services
QuickCut operates as a digital news, media publishing, and content aggregation platform. The Platform may include news articles, editorials, opinion pieces, images, audio content, videos, AI-assisted summaries, user-generated comments, advertisements, sponsored content, affiliate links, and subscription-based services. Content may be sourced internally or from third parties. QuickCut makes no representation that content is accurate, complete, unbiased, or suitable for reliance.
3. Accounts and Authentication
Certain features require account creation. Users may authenticate using Google Sign-In or other supported methods. By doing so, you authorize QuickCut to collect limited profile information such as name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your account.
4. Cookies, Tracking, and Analytics
QuickCut uses cookies, SDKs, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to enable functionality, authenticate users, analyze usage, prevent fraud, and deliver contextual or personalized advertising. Disabling cookies may impair Platform functionality. Third-party services may collect data subject to their own policies.
5. Editorial Disclaimer and No-Advice Clause
All content is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. QuickCut disclaims all warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or neutrality of content. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Reliance on content is at your own risk.
6. Advertisements and Commercial Content
The Platform may display third-party advertisements and sponsored content that may not be suitable for all users. QuickCut does not endorse advertiser claims and bears no responsibility for transactions between users and advertisers.
7. User-Generated Content
Users may submit comments or other content. By submitting content, you grant QuickCut a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, modify, publish, and distribute such content. QuickCut reserves the right to moderate or remove content at its sole discretion.
8. AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content
QuickCut may use artificial intelligence to generate summaries, recommendations, or enhancements. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied upon as authoritative. QuickCut disclaims liability arising from reliance on such content.
9. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain services may be offered on a paid subscription basis. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Pricing and features may change with notice. Payments may be processed by third-party gateways.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, software, trademarks, and design elements are owned by or licensed to QuickCut and protected by intellectual property laws. Users receive a limited, revocable, non-commercial license to access content.
11. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to violate laws, post unlawful or harmful content, misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated scraping tools. Violations may result in termination and legal action.
12. Suspension and Termination
QuickCut may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for legal or operational reasons.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickCut shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Platform use. Your sole remedy is discontinuation of use.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuickCut from claims arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Privacy Policy
QuickCut collects personal data such as name, email address, device data, cookies, and usage information to provide services, authenticate users, analyze performance, deliver advertisements, and comply with legal obligations. Data may be shared with analytics providers, advertising partners, cloud service providers, and authorities when required by law.
Users have rights under applicable laws including the IT Act, GDPR, and CCPA to access, correct, or delete personal data. Requests may be sent to helpdesk@quickcut.info. Reasonable security safeguards are implemented, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Community Guidelines
QuickCut encourages respectful and lawful participation. Users must not post content that is defamatory, hateful, obscene, misleading, or unlawful. Harassment, impersonation, spam, and coordinated abuse are prohibited. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.
Copyright & DMCA Takedown Policy
QuickCut respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, submit a written notice including identification of the copyrighted work, the infringing material, proof of ownership, and contact details to helpdesk@quickcut.info. Valid requests will be acted upon in accordance with applicable law.
News Accuracy & Corrections Policy
QuickCut strives for responsible journalism. If factual inaccuracies are identified, corrections may be issued at our discretion. Requests for correction may be submitted to helpdesk@quickcut.info, accompanied by verifiable evidence. Editorial decisions remain solely with QuickCut.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Paid subscriptions, if offered on the Platform, are billed in advance. Except where required by applicable law or platform-specific policies (such as Google Play or Apple App Store consumer protection rules), all fees are non-refundable. Users may cancel subscriptions at any time through their account settings or the respective app store; however, cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial periods, unused content, or early termination, unless mandated by law. QuickCut reserves the right to suspend or terminate subscriptions in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of Terms, without refund.
Cookie Policy
QuickCut uses cookies and similar technologies (including pixels, SDKs, and local storage) to ensure Platform functionality, enhance user experience, analyze traffic, prevent fraud, and deliver advertisements. Cookies may be session-based or persistent. Third-party cookies may be placed by analytics or advertising partners.
Users may manage or disable cookies through browser or device settings; however, doing so may impair certain features. Continued use of the Platform constitutes consent to cookie usage as described herein.
App Privacy Disclosure (Play Store & App Store)
For mobile applications distributed via Google Play Store and Apple App Store, QuickCut discloses the following categories of data collection:
- Personal Information: name, email address (via Google Sign-In)
- Device Information: device identifiers, operating system, app version
- Usage Data: interactions, session duration, crash logs
- Advertising Data: advertising identifiers for ad delivery and measurement
Data is used for app functionality, analytics, personalization, advertising, and legal compliance. Data is not sold. Users may manage permissions via device settings. Apple and Google act solely as distributors and are not responsible for Platform content.
Force Majeure & Class Action Waiver
QuickCut shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet outages, labor disputes, or third-party service failures.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be conducted on an individual basis only, and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in class actions against QuickCut.
Arbitration Clause (India)
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually by the parties. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties. Nothing herein shall prevent QuickCut from seeking injunctive or equitable relief before courts of competent jurisdiction.
Data Retention & Storage Policy
QuickCut retains personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, regulatory, accounting, and reporting requirements. Account-related data is retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter. Log files, analytics data, and advertising identifiers may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form. Upon valid request for deletion, personal data will be erased unless retention is required by law.
No Fiduciary Relationship / Publisher Liability Disclaimer
Nothing contained on the Platform creates any fiduciary, advisory, or professional relationship between QuickCut and users. QuickCut acts solely as a digital publisher and intermediary and does not assume editorial liability for third-party content, syndicated material, advertisements, or user-generated content beyond obligations imposed by applicable law. Users acknowledge that QuickCut is not a trustee, agent, or advisor of any kind.
Political, Election & Public Affairs Content Disclaimer
The Platform may publish or host news, commentary, opinions, or advertisements relating to political parties, elections, public offices, public policy, or matters of public importance. Such content is provided strictly for informational purposes. QuickCut does not endorse any political ideology, candidate, party, or policy unless expressly stated. Views expressed are solely those of the authors or advertisers. Users are encouraged to independently verify information before forming opinions or making decisions.
