Oppo has confirmed the India launch timeline for its next Reno smartphone range. The company will unveil the Oppo Reno 15 series in India on January 8 at 12 pm IST. Once announced, the new devices will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Amazon and Oppo’s official online store. The lineup is set to include three smartphones—the Oppo Reno 15, Oppo Reno 15 Pro and Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini.

Oppo Reno 15 Series: Camera specification (confirmed)

Oppo has highlighted photography as a key focus for the Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G. Both models will feature a 200MP primary rear camera. The brand says its PureTone technology will help balance subjects and backgrounds while ensuring uniform colour output in varied lighting conditions.

Alongside the main sensor, the Pro variants will offer a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. This setup is designed to handle portraits, group shots and wide landscapes. Oppo has also confirmed 4K HDR video recording at up to 60fps, supported across the front camera as well as the main, telephoto and ultra-wide lenses.

The series will introduce new software-led camera features, including portrait lighting enhancements, tools to remove unwanted elements from motion photos, and improved slow-motion video recording.

Oppo Reno 15 Series: Price in India (expected)

Oppo has not yet revealed official pricing. However, reports suggest the standard Oppo Reno 15 could be priced under ₹50,000. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is expected to come in below ₹40,000, while the Reno 15 Pro may be positioned above its predecessor. Final prices and complete specifications will be announced at the launch event on January 8.

Leaks indicate that the Oppo Reno 15 may house a 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Pro and Pro Mini variants are tipped to feature slightly smaller 6,200mAh batteries, paired with 80W wired fast charging. Both models are also expected to support wireless charging.

Oppo Reno 15 Series: Performance and software

As per reports, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. The standard Reno 15 is said to run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. All three smartphones are expected to ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
