Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba reported that recovery efforts are underway to restore heat and water to over 1 million consumers in Dnipropetrovsk. The energy ministry stated that by Thursday morning, approximately 800,000 residents were still without electricity. Meanwhile, power had been restored to the Zaporizhzhia region, marking a notable challenge as local governor Ivan Fedorov described it as the first instance of a total blackout in “recent years.” Fedorov expressed optimism, stating, “A difficult night for the region. But ‘light’ always wins,” emphasizing resilience amid adversity.
