MUMBAI: Mahindra has officially launched the facelifted version of its popular XUV700, now named the XUV 7XO, with introductory prices ranging from Rs 13.66 lakh to Rs 24.92 lakh, ex-showroom pan-India. The XUV 7XO comes in six different variants: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7 T, and AX7 L, catering to a diverse range of customer preferences.
The facelift introduces a striking new front fascia, which features an updated and wider black grille embellished with vertical chrome slats. Complementing this redesign are chunky dual-pod LED projector headlamps on either side, coupled with C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that enhance the vehicle's modern appeal. The front bumper's bold layering includes a rugged black lower section accented by a silver skid plate, contributing to the overall sporty character of the SUV.
Internally, the XUV 7XO boasts a sophisticated cabin that features a wide, layered dashboard with a seamless triple-screen display integrated into a single panel—a nod to the design language found in Mahindra's XEV 9S. The steering wheel, wrapped in leatherette, adds a touch of luxury with its black and brown finish, while the two-spoke design allows for easy access to infotainment and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) controls. Enhancements such as the 'Bring Your Own Device' (BYOD) feature with screen mounts on the front seatbacks position the XUV 7XO as a family-friendly vehicle for tech-savvy consumers.
With four new vibrant color options added to three carryover shades from the XUV700, Mahindra aims to captivate a broad audience. Although the boot space in this 7-seater might be limited at around 240 liters, the SUV's flexible seating configurations allow for practical usage suited for family trips or moving needs. As Mahindra continues to innovate in the competitive SUV segment, the XUV 7XO represents the brand's commitment to combining practicality with modern aesthetics.
